Bill Ross founded this company in 1964 with a simple proposition: build the house properly, tell the owner the truth, and let the work bring the next job in.
His son Mike runs it now — a certified architectural designer under Ontario regulations and a hands-on builder who is on the site rather than behind a desk. He draws your house, then he builds it.
We take on a small number of projects a year for people who intend to live in them for a long time. A good share of our clients are on their second or third Ross home, and some are the children of the people Bill built for.

We were the first registered EnerGuide and Energy Star builder in Simcoe. Every new home we build is tested — heavy insulation, heat recovery ventilation, and far less particleboard than the industry norm.

Most of our work begins with a phone call and a walk of the property. The design drawings for a new build or a major renovation are free — you will know what you are getting, and what it costs, before you commit to anything.
